Samantha Irvin says she didn’t like announcing.
In her original statement regarding her WWE departure that took place this past Monday, a fan attempted to blame Ricochet for the departure.
Irvin, who joined WWE in 2021 and was the lead announcer on RAW, has since responded to the fan.
This all started when the fan wrote, “I can’t prove it but I know Ricochet is behind this because he couldn’t stay in the big league.”
Irvin replied with the following, “I don’t like announcing. I’m serious! Announcing was only supposed to be my way in. I wanted to manage, maybe even become general manager one day. But WWE saw no other future for me besides announcer. I love watching the action but I don’t love being an announcer. I love WWE and I’m so proud and honored I got to share all the moments with fellow fans much love! also, they wanted Rico to stay in the big leagues. I don’t know why everyone pretending like he was always in great positions at WWE.”
Samantha Irvin says she didn't like announcing and she's happy she doesn't have to do a job she doesn't like anymore.
She also wanted to do more in WWE, but WWE saw no other future for her besides being an announcer. pic.twitter.com/dmwODBqqAa

During a recent appearance on “The Happy Hour” podcast, Trick Williams commented on the creation of his theme song and how it’s based off ‘Family Ties’ by Kendrick Lamar. He said,
“At the PC in Orlando, against Ilja Dragunov (match two), I got the theme changed. I got the instrumental and I told them I wanted to base the beat off a Kendrick Lamar song called ‘Family Ties.’ They came back with that instrumental beat and it was magical for me. My first time having a match at a PLE outside of Orlando was at No Mercy in California, and that’s the first time I realized, ‘We’re global with this.’ The people really love the Whoop That Trick movement. Since then, it’s taken off like a rocket.”
