Samantha Irvin left WWE because she didn’t like the idea of ‘solidifying’ that all she could do in entertainment was be a ring announcer.
Since parting ways with WWE, Irvin has spoken candidly about her exit, including stating that she didn’t like being an announcer.
On Twitter, a fan suggested that she should have stayed on for RAW’s move to Netflix which will take place in January of next year.
Irvin said leaving before the Netflix move was a tough call, but explained why she decided to go when she did.
Tough call but the longer I stay announcing the more I solidify the notion that that’s all I can do. Especially on such a huge platform.

Irvin reportedly left WWE to pursue other projects in entertainment, including her career as a musician and singer.
Irvin and her fiancée Ricochet have both downplayed the idea of her joining AEW, despite Irvin sharing that she hoped to be a manger in wrestling.
