Monday Night RAW’s move to Netflix marks the biggest step forward in the history of all of wrestling history, according to Seth Rollins.
Next week’s episode of WWE RAW will mark the red brand’s debut on Netflix, the first episode as part of a multi-billion dollar deal between the two parties.
During a recent appearance on Good Morning Football, Rollins addressed just how significant the RAW move is. He said,
“This is without a doubt the biggest step forward in the history of our industry. That’s not an understatement. We’re off cable for the first time in 30 years, going to streaming, the biggest streaming network on the planet. It’s gonna’ be incredible. This is the future of our industry. This is as big as it gets.”
Rollins will be in action during next week’s episode of RAW. He will battle CM Punk in Punk’s first WWE TV match since January 2014.
RAW will also see Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa, Jey Uso vs. Drew McIntyre and an appearance by John Cena, who’ll kick off his farewell tour.
