Time is running out to announce people for the 2025 Royal Rumble matches, so WWE decided to toss out a handful of names on Friday Night SmackDown to help head toward that 30-woman mark.

In rapid-fire succession, a vignette aired to promote and build hype for Charlotte Flair’s return, where she stated that she’d be in the women’s Royal Rumble match.

After that, there was an in-ring promo segment with Tiffany Stratton and Rhea Ripley that was interrupted by Nia Jax reaffirming her entry (despite how she had said she’d be in it already). Strangely, Candice LeRae — who was right next to her — didn’t say a word about confirming herself.

They would then be interrupted by Bianca Belair and Naomi, who would also go on to say that they’re declaring themselves as participants for this year’s match, as everyone would have expected.

Finally, they were then interrupted by Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Morgan declared herself and seemingly confirmed Raquel Rodriguez as well by saying her partner would ensure Morgan’s victory in the match.

Other than this group, Bayley is the only other woman confirmed to be a Royal Rumble entrant this year, while the Men’s Royal Rumble match currently still consists of 9 with CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, Jey Uso, John Cena, LA Knight, Rey Mysterio, Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins.
