As part of ‘WWE Week’ and the NXT season premiere, Jordynne Grace put her TNA Knockouts World Championship on the line in an open challenge.
While many Superstars were getting ready in the women’s locker room throughout the night, it was Sol Ruca who ended up answering the challenge for the title opportunity.

Unfortunately, the NXT Tag Team Championship match wasn’t the only title bout that ended in a no-contest. After Grace hit Ruca with a Muscle Buster, seemingly ready to go for a pinfall to retain her title, she was attacked by Rosemary and Wendy Choo, who laid her out and caused the match to be thrown out.
Choo had previously attacked Grace on last week’s episode of Impact, knocking out the TNA women’s champion with a loaded pillow as Rosemary looked on with glee, laughing.
Choo and Rosemary will face Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley next week on NXT, so we can expect to see some follow-up with Grace seeking payback either then or on this week’s edition of TNA Impact.
Where Ruca stands in this remains to be seen, as it could be argued she deserves another shot at the title, having not truly lost the match in any definitive way, even if it is ruled that Grace won by disqualification.
