Since next week’s episode of WWE NXT is being recorded in advance, we already know ahead of time that a title change goes down on the December 23, 2024 episode.
According to reports from fans in attendance, William Regal once again accompanied Lexis King in his match for the NXT Heritage Cup against Charlie Dempsey, who had Wren Sinclair in his corner.
During the match, Regal once again tried to suggest that King should use some brass knuckles, but King continued to refuse it. Apparently, in the process of Regal striking King out of annoyance, the brass knuckles flew out of his hands, Dempsey picked them up, and the referee confused the situation as Dempsey using them to knock out King, awarding a fall to King and thus, the championship.

Regal got annoyed that King wouldn't use the Kanuckles on Charles… So he decked him. The Knuc went flying. Charles picked them up and was framed for the fallen King. New champ! #WWENXT Lowell
