It was announced on this week’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW that Kairi Sane is injured due to an attack by Pure Fusion Collective and will be replaced in next week’s Triple Threat first-round match in the tournament to crown the inaugural WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
IYO SKY will take her place, and apparently, goes on to be victorious over Natalya and Alba Fyre.
That makes her the remaining semifinalist, who will go up against Lyra Valkyria on what we assume will be the December 30th episode of RAW, along with Zoey Stark against Dakota Kai. It still has not yet been confirmed that the finals will take place on RAW’s Netflix debut on January 6, 2025, but with WWE stacking that show as much as they can, it’s the most logical guess.
