An important update has surfaced regarding the return of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on NBC, scheduled for December 14 at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island, New York.
The December 14th broadcast on NBC was originally planned to feature the blowoff match between Seth “Freakin'” Rollins and “Big” Bronson Reed. However, with Reed out due to an injury, Drew McIntyre has been brought back to kick off a new storyline with Sami Zayn. Their match is now included in the main card.
Notably, Roman Reigns was promoted for the event on the Nassau Coliseum website until this week. The website has since updated its information to reflect the new NBC broadcast lineup, and Reigns is no longer listed. Moreover, Reigns has been removed from the WWE.com talent listing for Saturday’s show.
Seth Rollins and Bianca Belair were also previously advertised locally but have yet to be mentioned.
Meanwhile, Koko B. Ware and Tito Santana have confirmed through their social media platforms that they are scheduled to participate in the event.
WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event will air from 8:00 to 10:00 PM Eastern and stream live on Peacock, the WWE Network, and WWE’s YouTube channel for select international viewers.
The live event at Nassau Coliseum will start at 7:30 PM, indicating that dark matches will likely take place before and after the televised main card.
