As we previously reported here on eWn, Vince McMahon has plans to launch a new entertainment company that aims to produce and fund TV and movie projects.
If launched, the company will be McMahon’s biggest move in entertainment in close to a year after his exit from WWE in January 2024.
On a recent edition of the “Wrestling Time Machine” podcast, Teddy Long congratulated McMahon on the plans. He said,
“First, congratulations to him. You know he is a man that I would just consider as a gangster. You know what I mean, you ain’t gonna stop him. And Vince has a lot of prove and he’s gonna let people know that. So I am kinda’ like Bill and you guys.”
McMahon’s company will see him work with former WWE executives Brad Blum and Kristen Prouty. Both parted ways with WWE this year.
The 79-year-old billionaire remains the subject of a Dept. of Justice investigation into his ‘hush money’ payments to multiple women to keep quiet over affairs.
McMahon, alongside John Laurinaitis, and WWE, is the subject of Janel Grant’s lawsuit, alleging sexual abuse and trafficking during her time employed.
