The Bloodline Attacks Roman Reigns, Motor City Machine Guns Address Their WWE Debut

The Motor City Machine Guns debuted on Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown, defeating A-Town Down Under and Los Garzas in tag team action.

On the latest edition of the “Smackdown Lowdown,” Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin discussed their triumphant WWE debut.

You can check out some highlights from the interview below:

Chris Sabin on their debut: “It’s pretty surreal. I’d like to say it’s a dream come true, but it’s more than that. This is a goal accomplished for us. It might have taken over 20 years to get here, to get to this position, but being one match away from being number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships? That’s pretty crazy. Just saying it out loud kinda blows my mind a little bit.”

Alex Shelley on their match with #DIY next week: “We take things one step at a time, but DIY is exactly why we came to WWE. Exactly why we want to declare ourselves the best tag team on the planet, because we beat all the great tag teams that already exist in the WWE Universe. So I apologize to you in advance DIY, but you’re looking at the next WWE Tag Team Champions.”

Roman Reigns attempted to repair his relationship with Solo Sikoa on Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown, but he fell short and ended up getting attacked as a result.

The final segment of SmackDown featured Reigns in the ring with Sikoa making his way down shortly after.

Reigns mentioned that he had promised his late father he would resolve issues and acknowledged Sikoa to boost his spirits, but Sikoa felt that wasn’t enough and demanded to be recognized as The Tribal Chief.

Reigns retorted, “Or what?” and Sikoa pointed out that he knew Reigns hadn’t changed, which prompted Toma Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu to come out with a fallen Jimmy Uso, who the group had assaulted.

Reigns fought off The Bloodline and seized the ula fala, but as he was about to wear it, Sikoa delivered a low blow.

The Bloodline attacked Reigns and stood over him to close the show.
