Javier Bernal underwent surgery last week for a foot injury sustained during a tag team match featuring himself, Duke Hudson, Riley Osborne, and Drake Morreaux that was taped for NXT Level Up on June 4.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Bernal is expected to be out for six months or longer due to this injury.
The incident occurred when Bernal’s knee gave out while catching Osborne on a dive. Bernal is currently focused on his recovery process.
