Fightful Select has shared an update on the contractual status of wrestler Shane Haste (formerly Slapjack in WWE) with NJPW.
According to the report, Haste’s current contract with NJPW expires later this month, making him a free agent. It remains unclear whether Haste and NJPW have begun negotiating a new contract.
During his tenure with NJPW, Haste, in collaboration with his TMDK tag team partner Mikey Nicholls, won the NJPW Strong Openweight Tag Team Titles in April. However, the duo lost the titles to El Phantamso and Hikuleo at NJPW Resurgence last month.
In addition, it has been noted that Dijak’s WWE contract is also nearing expiration, and former WWE Superstar Mace, also known as Mason Maddon, is currently a free agent.
Dijak has not yet committed to a new contract after his draft to the RAW roster during the 2024 WWE Draft.
Mustafa Ali also remains a free agent despite his work in TNA Wrestling.
