Next week’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW (August 19, 2024) emanates out of the FLA Live Arena in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and we now know three matches set for the card.
The newly-named Pure Fusion Collective (Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark) faced off against Damage CTRL in a No. 1 contender’s match to try to determine who would get the next shot at The Unholy Union. However, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn decided to interfere, causing the match to be thrown out, inadvertently setting up a Triple Threat match instead. All three teams will now compete in this three-way for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
There will also be tag team action in the men’s division, but in trios format, as a six-man tag team match was set after a challenge from Kofi Kingston. He took Xavier Wood’s idea of a tag team fight with The New Day against two members of The Final Testament and added Odyssey Jones to the mix, so they will clash with Karrion Kross and The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) next week.

Lastly, Pete Dunne was interviewed by Jackie Redmond about his recent actions, turning on Sheamus. He expressed how he hated the nickname Butch and was disrespected as an 18-year veteran when he was under The Celtic Warrior’s wing. A response from Sheamus was met with an attack by Dunne, setting up a singles match between the two next week.
