In the opening segment of this week’s episode of WWE RAW, CM Punk and Seth Rollins had an intense confrontation that quickly escalated into a physical altercation.
Punk began by addressing the crowd and discussing his journey to WrestleMania, teasing potential involvement in upcoming events like the Royal Rumble or Elimination Chamber. He also mentioned having Paul Heyman’s favor, hinting at new opportunities.
Seth Rollins interrupted, explaining that he had been reflecting on how he should have dealt with Punk when he first arrived in WWE. Rollins remarked that while he was busy defending titles, Punk was sidelined with injuries. Now that Punk had stood tall at Survivor Series, Rollins believed it was time to settle their differences.
Punk, however, dismissed Rollins, claiming that he wasn’t interested in him since Rollins no longer held a title. He told Rollins to stay out of his business. But Rollins, feeling disrespected, responded by attacking Punk, leading to a brawl. The chaos was eventually broken up by Sami Zayn and Jey Uso, who rushed to the ring to separate the two.
This segment sets the stage for a potential feud between Punk and Rollins, with both men clearly having unresolved tensions.

Also on this week’s episode of WWE RAW, The New Day’s celebration took a dramatic turn when Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods turned on Big E. The segment began with Woods and Kingston celebrating, but the tone shifted when Big E entered and expressed how painful it was to see his former friends fighting. He reminded them that they had been by his side through thick and thin, especially during his injury.
However, Kingston and Woods revealed their frustrations with E’s prolonged absence. Kingston criticized Big E for not returning sooner after his injury, comparing him to other wrestlers like Steve Austin, Edge, and Kurt Angle, who came back from neck injuries faster. Woods added that he had recovered from an Achilles injury in nine months to support Big E, but E. hadn’t returned to help them.
The tension escalated as Woods accused Big E of not missing them and even mocked him for teasing a comeback despite the doubts about his clearance. He then told Big E to leave the ring and return to a desk, insinuating that E. was no longer needed in the ring. When E. tried to embrace Kingston, he was met with rejection, and the segment ended with Woods and Kingston shaking hands, signaling that they were moving on without Big E.
