A recent report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter provides the ratings breakdown for this week’s episodes of AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT.
As previously reported, WWE NXT achieved a 0.17 rating in the 18–49 demographic, drawing 619,000 viewers, while AEW Dynamite recorded a 0.16 demo rating with 523,000 viewers.
WWE NXT, broadcast on Wednesday due to the US elections occurring on Tuesday, ranked last among broadcast network shows, which is typical for The CW.
Meanwhile, AEW Dynamite secured the #4 spot in its timeslot and did not make it into the top 25 cable shows. FOX News dominated the night, capturing 16 of the top 17 slots due to post-election coverage.
AEW Dynamite placed second among cable entertainment programs, trailing only behind The Challenge on MTV (0.17 demo rating/424,000 viewers).
Compared to the previous week, WWE NXT saw a 5.3% increase in total viewers, a 25% rise in the 18-49 demographic, and a 42.9% jump in the 18-34 demographic.
Compared to the previous year, WWE NXT experienced a 22.0% decline in total viewers, a 32.3% drop in the 18-49 demographic, and a 54.5% decrease in the 18-34 demographic.
AEW Dynamite’s total viewers fell by 16.7% compared to the previous week, the 18-49 demographic decreased by 16.0%, and the 18-34 demographic dropped by 21.1%.
Compared to the previous year, AEW Dynamite’s viewership fell by 35.0%, with a 39.1% decline in the 18-49 demographic and a 49.3% decrease in the 18-34 demographic.
