The Reason Why Pat McAfee Missed WWE RAW

Last night’s episode of WWE RAW did not feature Pat McAfee, who typically serves as a color commentator alongside Michael Cole.

Cole announced that McAfee would be absent at the beginning of RAW, emphasizing that viewers “shouldn’t read that much into it.”

The Miz stepped in to replace McAfee on commentary shortly after McAfee interviewed Triple H on his “The Pat McAfee Show” podcast. During the interview, WWE CCO Triple H addressed various topics, including WWE programming on Netflix and wrestlers such as Jacob Fatu and Roman Reigns.

Nikki Cross presented Cole with a box addressed to McAfee during RAW, following the Wyatt Sicks’ vicious attacks last week.

WWE has been incorporating elements related to the Wyatt Sicks group into McAfee’s podcast, as evidenced by the cutting of last week’s feed and the subsequent airing of “You Lied” messages. However, the former NFL athlete has dispelled speculation about its connection to the group.

PWTorch is reporting that McAfee’s absence from RAW was due to a legitimate last-minute family emergency.
