Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is celebrating after the recently-released teaser trailer for Disney’s Moana 2 broke records in terms of viewership.
Moana 2 will be a sequel to the 2016 film and sees Johnson return as the demi-god Maui who teams with Moana (Auliʻi Cravalho) for another adventure.
On social media, Johnson shared that the teaser trailer had reached 178 million views in its first 24 hours, breaking the record for any Disney project.
The new film will be released on November 27. The record had previously been held by the trailer for Inside Out 2 which will be released on June 14.
