An injury to the Street Profits has forced a big change to this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown.
WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announced that Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins re-aggravated injuries during some recent live events. Due to this, they will not be participating in the scheduled WWE Tag Team Championship match. Now, #DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) will be defending their titles against the Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin).
The Street Profits last competed on December 28th during a four-way tag team match on WWE’s holiday tour.
