GUNTHER held the WWE Intercontinental Championship for a record 666 days before losing it to Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 40.
On a recent edition of his “Six Feet Under” podcast, The Undertaker praised Triple H for bringing prestige to championships and highlighted how GUNTHER’s historic reign has turned the Intercontinental Title into a valuable prize.
The Undertaker said, “I think Paul’s going to create more stories like the run that GUNTHER had with the IC belt. None of those belts really meant anything until GUNTHER had it and now it means something again.”
Following his loss at WrestleMania 40, GUNTHER cemented himself as the King of The Ring.
