Rhea Ripley is your new Women’s World Champion as she finally defeated Liv Morgan to recapture her title during the Netflix premiere of WWE Monday Night RAW on January 6, 2025.

Ripley almost had the match won with a Riptide, only for Morgan to kick out at two. Dominik Mysterio then slid the title belt into the ring, causing a distraction wherein Raquel Rodriguez was able to put a chair in the ring and Morgan could hit Oblivion on the chair, putting Ripley out for a close two-count of her own.

Two more Riptides later on in the match would do the trick and Ripley is now once again Women’s World Champion.

As she was celebrating with the title, Dirty Dom approached her from behind and opened his arms for a hug to a chorus of boos. The Eradicator kissed her championship belt, placed it down, and then nailed Dom in the crotch with a low-blow kick before laying him out with a Riptide for good measure.

Ripley previously defeated Morgan by disqualification at Bad Blood 2024 wherein Dominik Mysterio was locked in a shark cage, only for Raquel Rodriguez to make her return and get some revenge on Ripley for their previous feud and to help out her ally and former two-time tag team champion partner. For the past few months since the October 5th match, Ripley has continued to go after Morgan and Rodriguez, yet every match has been something without the title on the line. With this setup, it seems as though this could be the end of this story and all parties can start to move on to something new.

After the match, The Undertaker came out in American Bad Ass mode on a motorcycle to drive down to the ring, but circle back and give a fist bump to the new champion.
