Former faction The Way shared a brief reunion backstage at WWE WrestleMania 40 (Night One) following the six-pack tag-team ladder match.
A photo surfaced on social media showing new WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion Austin Theory alongside fellow The Way alum Candice LeRae, Johnny Gargano & Indi Hartwell.

The faction launched in WWE NXT in December 2020 but would quietly disband in 2021 after LeRae went on maternity leave and Theory was drafted to RAW.
The group’s final segment came on the December 7 episode of WWE NXT 2.0 and would feature Gargano, Hartwell, and Hartwell’s on-screen husband Dexter Lumis.
