Tiffany Stratton’s experience in the world of gymnastics has helped her immensely in pro wrestling, according to the SmackDown Superstar.
In a recent interview with “Whitty Whittier,” Stratton explained how her gymnastics background has aided her in the squared circle. She said,
“Gymnastics, honestly, it taught me everything that I know taught me hard work, dedication, coordination, flexibility, like all the physical stuff and all the, the mind stuff and the mental stuff as well. In wrestling, you have to be, you have to be coordinated. You have to be flexible.
“I feel like gymnastics really helped, gives you such a good base for any sport, let alone wrestling. I definitely feel like I had a leg up on everybody because of my gymnastics background. I don’t know if you realize, but we have so many gymnasts now at the PC and that are on NXT TV and they’re doing so well right now.
“So I think gymnastics has definitely given me a leg up and has shown that, you know, with the gymnastics background and, you can definitely become a successful professional wrestler.”
Stratton made her debut in WWE NXT in 2021 and captured the WWE NXT Women’s Championship in 2023, a title she would later lose to Becky Lynch.
Stratton was called up to the main roster in early 2024 and recently participated in the Queen of the Ring 2024 tournament.
