During a recent edition of the “Busted Open After Dark” podcast, Tommy Dreamer commented on the botched spot by the referee during a match featuring Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor on Monday’s episode of WWE RAW.
After hitting Balor with a Pedigree, Rollins appeared to have scored a three-count on Balor. Despite this, the referee only ruled it as a two-count.

On how the fans negatively reacted to the spot: “His [the referee’s] hand clearly hit it. There’s no slow mo. The announcers…goodness, they kind of had to lean out…if they’re watching the monitor how you’re supposed to watch it, if you’re being an announcer, the call was blown. Again, it happens. Don’t want to see the guy lose his job. But when the fans start doing what the fans were doing, chanting ‘Ref, you suck!’ that is something where you’re like ‘Oh man, I can’t believe that happened.’”

WWE has announced that Ethan Page and Je’Von Evans will be facing off in a Lumberjack Match at a WWE NXT live event in Sebring, Florida this weekend.
At last Saturday’s WWE NXT: Vengeance Day pay-per-view event, Page defeated Evans.

During a recent interview with Kevin Iole, former WWE Superstar Big E commented on whether he ever thought about pursuing a career in MMA. He said,
“No. Not once. Mind you, I’m maybe 5’11’ and about 255. As far as MMA, you’re fighting Stefan Struve, who is a seven-foot fighter at heavyweight. Daniel Cormier was able to do it around my height, but you’re talking about one of the best American wrestlers of the last 10-20 years. As much as I love the sport, I wrestled in high school, I was never enough of an elite wrestler or an elite striker to think, ‘I could really make a go of this.’”
