WWE NXT North American Champion Tony D’Angelo is set to star in the drama series Wild Cards as part of the show’s second season.
Variety is reporting that D’Angelo will portray Jaws, a powerful criminal mastermind, and will be one of several notable guest stars.
Other names who will be appearing in the second season include Martin Sheen (The West Wing, Apocalypse Now) and Ally Sheedy (The Breakfast Club, Psych).
The show follows Cole Ellis (Giacomo Gianniotti), a down-on-his-luck cop, and Max Mitchell (Vanessa Morgan), a skilled con artist, who team up to solve crimes.
D’Angelo is in his first reign as WWE NXT North American Champion after ending Oba Femi’s record-breaking reign in October of this year.
