The newest incarnation of The Wyatt Family, The Wyatt Sicks, debuted last week on WWE RAW with Bo Dallas playing Uncle Howdy, Nikki Cross playing Sister Abigail, Dexter Lumis portraying Mercy The Buzzard, Joe Gacy playing Huskus The Pig Boy, and Erick Rowan embodying Rambling Rabbit.
During a recent appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” podcast, WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque shared a brief update on Chad Gable, who was a victim of The Wyatt Sicks’ vicious attacks last week.
Triple H said, “Yeah, he’s good. You see things on TV, and it escalated quickly from, ‘Here’s Chad Gable laying down, he’s obviously unconscious, got a little blood on him,’ to, ‘Oh my God, he got shot in the head, he’s dead.’ Here’s obituaries being put up on him and people wishing him well. Look, it’s one of the wonderful things about our fans is, they just love to be engaged in the product and to, in their minds, fantasize where it can go and what it’s gonna be. It’s an awesome part of what we do. Every now and then, we gotta pull back into reality a little bit, like, ‘No, Chad Gable is still alive,’ if we can just clarify that for the record. He’s still alive, and if you come to [Raw] tonight, you will probably see him actually competing. That’s the kind of stud he is.”
Zack Gibson and James Drake, collectively known as Grizzled Young Veterans, worked with Joe Gacy as part of the Schism in WWE NXT.
Following the expiration of their contracts in October 2023, Drake and Gibson departed from WWE. Meanwhile, after a brief solo run in NXT, Gacy reappeared as a member of the Wyatt Sicks on the June 17th episode of WWE RAW.
In a recent interview with Metro UK, Zack Gibson shared his thoughts on Joe Gacy’s involvement in The Wyatt Sicks.
Gibson said, ”That role was made for Joe. I think he’s going to absolutely smash it. The whole faction there looks brilliant, it’s the perfect role for him…Spooky stuff isn’t necessarily my forte. We’re not trying to blame any individuals because everyone was just trying to their jobs in a scenario that was ever-changing. We’re looking around thinking, ‘How did we get here? This is not what was originally pitched.'”
