WWE Vengeance Day is set for February 15, 2025 at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, D.C., and we now know the main event of the show.
WWE NXT World Champion Oba Femi was the guest on The Grayson Waller Effect on this week’s episode of NXT, wherein Austin Theory and Grayson Waller talked some trash about how they don’t see him as a main event star on the main roster.

Femi was game to face either of them in a match, asking who would be stepping up to prove themselves against him at Vengeance Day. WWE NXT General Manager Ava would interrupt to say as she’s told him before, Femi can’t just go ahead and make matches. Trick Williams would also come out, leading to a quick brawl with Theory and Waller, but Williams was then powerbombed by Femi.

Williams was so upset about this and wanting another shot to possibly win back his title he had lost to Femi at New Year’s Evil, and would get himself disqualified in his match against Wes Lee.
Ava then spoke to Femi backstage, scolding him for his behavior, informing him that he is set to face both Austin Theory and Grayson Waller in a Triple Threat Match at Vengeance Day.

It’s important to note that the next segment after the commercial break was Ava then speaking to Trick Williams in the locker room to book a tag team match where Trick and Femi will face A-Town Down Under next week. This may end up being a means to get Trick into the title bout, changing it from a Triple Threat to a Fatal 4-Way, but that wasn’t announced.
