WWE aims to enhance its global footprint in 2025, following a record-breaking year in 2024 for hosting more Premium Live Events (PLEs) outside the United States than ever before.
In 2024, WWE organized PLEs beyond the US market, including Elimination Chamber in Australia, Money In The Bank in Canada, Bash In Berlin at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany, and Survivor Series: WarGames in Canada.
WWE has signed a ten-year deal with Saudi Arabia, committing to hold two PLEs each year.
During a tourism event in Las Vegas, WWE President Nick Khan announced that more PLEs would be hosted in Germany and France, with details yet to be revealed.
Khan said, “You’ve seen international expansion for us, with our biggest events, the Premium Live Events, in Germany, in France, coming up, which has not yet been announced. With Lyon, last year in France. Paris, upcoming. We’re going to be bigger and better than we’ve already been and we’re excited to get there.”
Khan also mentioned that WWE SmackDown and RAW during WrestleMania 41 week will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Chris Legentil, WWE’s Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and Head of Communications, previously stated that the company plans to host more overseas events in 2025.
