Wrestlenomics has shared an update on the actual gate figures for WrestleMania 40 and other surrounding events for WWE in Philadelphia, PA.

The figures were acquired through a public records request with the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission.

Night 1 of WrestleMania 40 generated $17,656,965 in ticket sales, while Night 2 generated $18,433,325 in ticket sales, setting a new record for the all-time pro wrestling gate for a single-day event.

The two-day total amounts to $36,090,290. The reported figures do not include ticket fees.

Friday Night Smackdown (April 5): $2,022,405

NXT Stand & Deliver (April 6): $1,109,245

WrestleMania 40 Night 1 (April 6): $17,656,965

WrestleMania 40 Night 2 (April 7): $18,433,325

Monday Night RAW (April 8): $2,243,015

WWE SmackDown, NXT Stand & Deliver, and RAW took place at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center, while WrestleMania XL was hosted at Lincoln Financial Field.

With ticket fees factored in, it is reported that WrestleMania 40 achieved $38.5 million in ticket sales.

The inaugural night of WrestleMania 40 featured the in-ring return of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who teamed with Roman Reigns against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in the main event. The second night showcased Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns in a rematch from WrestleMania 39.
