The company has officially announced that WrestleMania 41 in 2025 will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 19 and 20.
Moreover, a future WrestleMania has been confirmed for the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
During a recent Twitter Q&A video, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro announced that WrestleMania 42 in 2026 will be held in Philadelphia.
Shapiro made this announcement while discussing the planned events that the city will host as part of America’s 250th Anniversary celebrations in 2026.
According to a report from Pwinsider, WWE has not internally discussed this, and a reliable source involved in planning for the event in 2026 revealed that the location for WrestleMania 42 has yet to be finalized.
Some people “wondered if Shapiro just meant to reference WWE as a whole, not Mania itself, and incorrectly spoke, but couldn’t state whether that was indeed the case.”
Regarding the speculation about WrestleMania 42 being held in Philadelphia, a source informed WrestleVotes that WWE has yet to make any official announcement.
WWE had a positive experience with Philadelphia during WrestleMania 40 and is interested in having the city host again despite the challenging weather.
The location for WrestleMania 42 was apparently decided months ago and was no longer an option for Minneapolis after WrestleMania 41 was relocated. If it turns out true, Philadelphia would be a repeat location.
Another possibility is that the Governor used “WrestleMania” as a general term for a major WWE pay-per-view event.
