Five matches have been announced for next week’s episode of WWE NXT, which is set to be back in the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida on February 4, 2025.
After things got heated in a Grayson Waller Effect segment, Trick Williams will team with Oba Femi to face A-Town Down Under. Femi had powerbombed Trick during that brawl, and both Grayson Waller and Austin Theory will face Femi in a Triple Threat match at Vengeance Day, which upsets Williams, as he thinks he deserves a title shot more than A-Town Down Under.
Since it was also announced that Stephanie Vaquer will face Fallon Henley for the NXT Women’s North American Championship at Vengeance Day, Fatal Influence had a quick backstage segment wherein Jacy Jayne interrupted Henley’s complaints about that match being booked. This led to Henley then volunteering Jayne to face Vaquer next week to soften her up and get some revenge for Vaquer attacking Jayne in the makeup chair a few weeks ago.
There will be a “summit” promo segment with Giulia, Bayley and Roxanne Perez to hype up their Triple Threat match for Vengeance Day. As Cora Jade is upset at Ava (and possibly also Roxanne Perez for calling her out for taking the pinfall loss in their tag team match against Bayley and Giulia), we can expect to see Jade make her presence felt here, too.
In another backstage segment, Kelani Jordan told Karmen Petrovic that it’s only a matter of time until Ashante “Thee” Adonis leaves Petrovic, leading to a match between those two next week as well.
Finally, Ridge Holland will face Channing Lorenzo, as they nearly got into a fight tonight after Stacks was defending Izzi Dame from Holland, who was upset at Dame for interfering in his North American Championship match against Tony D’Angelo last week.
To sum it up, here’s your lineup for next week’s NXT:
- Oba Femi & Trick Williams vs. A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory & Grayson Waller)
- Jacy Jayne vs Stephanie Vaquer
- Vengeance Day Summit with Giulia, Bayley and Roxanne Perez
- Karmen Petrovic vs Kelani Jordan
- Ridge Holland vs Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo
