Natalya, who had inked a new deal with WWE some months back, had been missing from weekly television but returned on this week’s show, where she secured victory in a six-woman tag team match.
During a recent appearance on the “Growing Up Von Erich” podcast, Natalya disclosed the reasons behind her hiatus, citing various projects she was involved in. She expressed that returning to Calgary felt suitable for her due to her family ties.
Natalya commended the company and WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque for allowing her to take a break for mental wellness.
She also revealed that she underwent eye surgery to correct an astigmatism. The recovery process required additional time off, and she appreciated Triple H for empathizing with her situation.
Natalya mentioned how refreshing it was to have a boss who understood her needs, which may have been a subtle reference to Vince McMahon, known for his tireless work ethic.
