‘Big’ Bronson Reed may be thriving on WWE Monday Night RAW these days, but Vince Russo isn’t optimistic about his future prospects on the brand.
Reed recently made a name for himself by demolishing Seth Rollins with six Tsunami finishers. The former World Champion hasn’t appeared since then.
On a recent edition of his “Writing with Russo” podcast, the infamous wrestling writer shared why Reed’s push won’t last. He said,
“Bro there is only one thing you can do as far as I am concerned and they are gonna go the complete opposite way. Let him continue to do this and squash people and Tsunami [sic] people and beat people, and finally Rollins come back?
“Bro you gotta’ have him do the same thing to Rollins again. You know they are not gonna. You know that’s gonna be end of Bronson Reed.”
Russo compared Reed’s situation to Shinsuke Nakamura, who after a strong push after his 2017 call-up, has drifted down WWE’s card.
Reed is a former NXT North American Champion and won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal in April of this year.
