WWE is currently dealing with an intriguing lawsuit brought forth by Leland Owens.
According to court documents obtained by Pwinsider, Owens has filed a lawsuit against WWE, Vince McMahon, Linda McMahon, and Stephanie McMahon this week in the Eastern District of Washington, U.S. District Court.
The lawsuit claims that WWE owes Owens unpaid wages for the creative ideas he provided.
Owens alleges that Linda’s “role as a senator” was used to conceal an offer of “a $100,000 check.” McMahon was never elected or served as a senator despite two unsuccessful attempts.
Owens contends, “Vince and Stephanie disguised themselves as an agent to try and get away with all my ideas.”
He claims he was in contact with Sasha Banks and Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson), using their real names.
Based on Owens’ assertions, which could be easily refuted in court, the case will likely not progress.
