Cody Rhodes cut a promo following this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown.

After this week’s show went off the air, Rhodes told the crowd that he was glad the main event segment between himself, Kevin Owens and Nick Aldis happened in Tampa, FL.

Rhodes told the fans in attendance that Mama Rhodes is from Tampa, and then promised to take out Kevin Owens at the 2025 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view event.

Owens vs. Rhodes in a Ladder Match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and Winged Eagle Championship will be taking place at the February pay-per-view event.

WWE Superstar Omos has been confirmed for Pro Wrestling NOAH’s ‘The New Year 2025’ event.

During a press conference on Friday, Pro Wrestling NOAH confirmed that Omos will be teaming up with Jack Morris to face off against Naomichi Marufuji & Takashi Sugiura for the GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Championships on January 1, 2025.

Omos said, “I want to leave my mark on this country as a giant. [If I win], I’ll aim for more titles.”

Omos hasn’t wrestled since the April 5th episode of WWE SmackDown as part of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
