The final two spots have been determined for the Men’s and Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge matches set to take place at WWE NXT Deadline on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the Minneapolis Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Opening this week’s episode of WWE NXT was the last chance match for the women’s qualifier, which ended in surprising fashion as Lola Vice interfered, accidentally hitting Wren Sinclair with her strike, and Sinclair fell backward on top of Cora Jade to score the win.

Eddy Thorpe rounded out the field for the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge, winning his Last Chance match by stealing a pinfall from Axiom on Lexis King.
However, the very last thing on this episode was footage of Thorpe having been attacked backstage, with referees checking on him. This may indicate Thorpe will be pulled from the match and replaced, though we won’t find out more about that until this Saturday, most likely.
