While WWE is focusing on Saturday Night’s Main Event XXXVIII this week, the company is also preparing for the 2025 Royal Rumble pay-per-view event.
Besides the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches, the only confirmed bout for the event is Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes facing Kevin Owens in a Ladder Match.
It’s expected that at least one or potentially two more matches will be added to the card.
WrestleVotes is reporting that there have been rumors of a secondary women’s title match, possibly featuring Chelsea Green defending the Women’s United States Title.
The report states, “Yeah, nothing that I have concrete. I have heard some rumblings that a secondary women’s title match may be added, maybe a Chelsea Green defense of some sort, but nothing that I can say right now is for sure on the card.”
WWE Royal Rumble 2025 will be held the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
