In terms of growth and revenue, 2024 has been a landmark year for WWE. The Endeavor-owned promotion has experienced strong business throughout 2024 while signing many talents to new long-term contracts.
WWE NXT will transition from the USA Network to the CW Network next month. Additionally, the brand’s touring schedule has changed, with the October 1st and 8th episodes taking place on the road.
Fightful Select is reporting that the November 5th NXT show at the WWE Performance Center has been canceled, although the reason has not been officially confirmed.
Two potential explanations have been suggested. One possibility is that the show will be held at a different location. Another explanation could be related to WWE giving talent time off, similar to what happened earlier this year for the first Saudi Arabia show when a double taping was held the week before to accommodate travel logistics.
It’s worth noting that this year’s WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view event is scheduled for November 2, just days before the canceled NXT event.
If that’s the reason for the cancellation, WWE may hold a series of tapings before traveling to Saudi Arabia.
