WWE had previously confirmed that Shotzi would be competing in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying match against Tiffany Stratton on this week’s episode of SmackDown. However, there is now uncertainty surrounding this bout.
During Tuesday’s WWE NXT TV tapings, Shotzi sustained an injury while challenging Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women’s Championship. Following the stoppage of the match, Shotzi needed assistance to leave the ring.
Considering the severity of Shotzi’s injury, it is highly likely that she will be unable to participate in the SmackDown match and will be replaced by another competitor.
