Nikkita Lyons made her highly anticipated return to the ring last month after being sidelined for several months due to an injury.
Since her return, Lyons has quickly engaged in a new storyline, and there’s increasing speculation that she may be turning heel soon.
During the October 22nd episode of WWE NXT, Oba Femi launched a vicious assault on Luca Crusifino, while Adriana Rizzo was discovered injured backstage.
To add to the intrigue, Femi and Lyons briefly interacted following Rizzo’s assault, hinting that WWE might be developing a romance subplot between them, although it could mean something entirely different.
On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez discussed who might be responsible for Rizzo’s attack.
He noted that Lyons was likely to be revealed as the assailant. Since she returned as a babyface, her revelation as the attacker would effectively transition her to a heel character.
Alvarez said, “Which we have been led to believe is Nikkita Lyons.”
