During Sunday’s WWE NXT: Vengeance Day 2024 pay-per-view event, Lyra Valkyria had an extra opponent added to her title defense midway through, but she still retained the NXT Women’s Championship.
Valkyria defeated Roxanne Perez and Lola Vice to walk out of Tennessee with her title.
The match was originally supposed to be a singles title bout between Valkyria and Perez, but Vice came down to the ring and cashed in her guaranteed title shot which she earned by winning the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament.
Valkyria’s obsessed fanatic Tatum Paxley prevented Perez from pinning Vice. Valkyria then took out Vice and won the match.
Valkyria has held the WWE NXT Women’s Championship for 104 days, having defeated Becky Lynch for the title at NXT Halloween Havoc 2023.
