“All Ego” Ethan Page is your new face of WWE NXT after winning the NXT World Championship in the Fatal 4-Way main event of NXT Heatwave 2024.
This match saw Trick Williams entering as champion against Page, who he had defeated at the previous pay-per-view event (NXT Battleground), Shawn Spears, and Je’Von Evans, who had originally won the 25-man battle royal to earn a title shot in the first place.
Page was able to take advantage of the champion’s disadvantage here, pinning The Young OG to win the title. Evans taking the pin instead of Williams allows room for a rematch between Page and Williams in the future, possibly at NXT Great American Bash coming up on August 6th.

Interestingly, that note wasn’t the final thing the pay-per-view ended on, despite it being easily the biggest and most important thing that happened on an otherwise uneventful show.
Instead, the broadcast ended with a flash to white, transitioning to TNA Wrestling’s Joe Hendry turning around to face the screen (a la his entrance theme’s video). No one even said his name, but he appeared!
