Nielsen will monitor the viewership ratings for NFL games streaming on Netflix this Christmas Day, which could potentially impact wrestling.
According to The Athletic, two NFL games are scheduled to air on Netflix on Wednesday, and their ratings will be reported.
The report does not mention the fate of WWE RAW when it transitions to Netflix on January 6.
If Nielsen tracks the NFL games, it may also do so for RAW, but it’s uncertain what will happen when WWE debuts on the platform next month.
Nonetheless, Netflix has previously provided data on sports broadcasts, as it reported internal viewership data for the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight.
