In a year when WWE signed many talents to its roster, it also faced challenges in retaining others.

Becky Lynch stepped away from the company for an indefinite hiatus without any intention of joining another wrestling promotion despite being a top star for many years. Her husband, Seth Rollins, continues to work for WWE. Meanwhile, Ricochet left WWE to join AEW to showcase his skills on a different platform.

WWE has successfully renewed contracts with Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, Asuka, Natalya, Humberto Carrillo, Angel Garza, and, most recently, Sheamus. The company will also need to negotiate a new deal with Kevin Owens, as his contract expires in a few months.

Pwinsider is reporting that WWE has initiated discussions with Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, and Nia Jax regarding new contracts.

Unlike earlier this year, WWE aims to finalize new deals with these three Superstars well before their contracts expire.

This proactive approach of WWE is part of a “very aggressive” strategy to secure new contracts.
