Zelina Vega will not be defending her crown in the Queen of the Ring Tournament after being pulled due to not being medically cleared to compete.
On Twitter, WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce made the unfortunate news that Vega had not been cleared to compete in her match at a WWE live event in Macon, Georgia.
Instead of Vega, it will be Maxxine Dupri who faces Shayna Baszler in the final first-round match of the Queen of the Ring tournament.
In his video, Pearce referenced Vega’s Queen’s Crown Tournament victory in 2021 and was frustrated that the “injury bug strikes again.”

Both the King & Queen of the Ring tournaments have seen several stars pulled including Drew McIntyre, Asuka, and 2021 King of the Ring Xavier Woods.
