On Thursday night’s episode of Impact Wrestling, El Phantasmo defeated Willie Mack and Rohit Raju.
Phantasmo’s victory has secured his place as the final competitor in the X-Division Championship triple threat match scheduled for Bound for Glory 2021. Phantasmo will face both Steve Maclin and Trey Miguel for the vacant championship at the October 23rd show. All three men in the match, if victorious, will lift the title for the first time in their careers.
The Impact Wrestling X-Division Championship has been vacant since former champion Josh Alexander gave up the title for an opportunity to challenge Christian Cage for the Impact World Title.
