Impact Wrestling deleted a tweet announcing a match for tonight’s TV tapings featuring Yuya Uemura as he appeared to be hurt during Saturday’s TV tapings at Sam’s Town Live in Las Vegas.
F4WOnline.com reports that Sami Callihan’s match with Yuya Uemura was stopped prematurely after Uemura landed awkwardly on his head following a powerbomb by Callihan.
According to an attendee of the tapings, the injured NJPW wrestler was able to walk with some assistance to the backstage area following a lengthy period of medical treatment. Scott D’Amore and Kushida came out with EMTs, and Rhino and Tommy Dreamer were also present. The match ended in a no-contest due to Uemura suffering a head injury.

There is no update yet on the condition of Yuya Uemura or the severity of his injury. Uemura has been appearing for Impact Wrestling since August 2022.
