LWO member Zelina Vega was glad to be ‘home’ on this week’s NXT following the group’s victory in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
On the show, Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde beat Duke Hudson and Riley Osborne to advance to the next round. Vega accompanied her LWO allies.
In a “WWE NXT Exclusive,” Vega spoke about returning to the gold brand. She said,
“It was so good. I mean, to walk out there and to get a nice little ‘Zelina Vega chant’ was pretty nice, and to have Puerto Rican flags in the audience, I mean, come on. It felt nice to be home, and I gotta support my guys here, always. We always stick together. Now, as far as SmackDown goes, even just walking around here, seeing some little Zelina Vega lites, Santos is a grade-school gangster, if we’re really gonna talk about it.
“Everything that he is is made up, and he has no respect. As far as Angel goes, I’m sorry, I don’t really remember anybody that couldn’t make me money. What I will say is that we have bigger things to worry about. So now, guys, let’s make sure that the Latino World Order wins the Dusty Cup.”
Vega debuted in WWE NXT in June 2017 as an ally of Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas and the duo would be drafted to SmackDown in April 2018.
