We start right off with Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett, Satnam Singh and Sonjay Dutt coming to the ring for 8 man tag team action!
Orange Cassidy, The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn defeat Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt & Satnam Singh
Sonjay Dutt and Anthony Bowens begin the bout. Dutt quickly tags in Jay Lethal and he locks up with Bowens. Anthony Bowens puts Lethal down with a leg drop and tags in Max Caster. Lethal backs Caster into his own corner and tags in Jeff Jarrett. Max Caster bests him in exchange, laying him down with a drop kick. Jarrett becomes frustrated and tags in Satnam Singh. Orange Cassidy requests the tag from Max Caster and he obliges. Sonjay Dutt makes a quick tag in before Cassidy backs away and lets Billy Gunn in. Jeff Jarrett is tagged back in and he and Gunn tie up. Jarrett has the advantage as the Gunn brothers are shown cheering him on from the entrance ramp. Billy Gunn is kept isolated in the opposing corner as his opponents exchange tags. Satnam Singh is in and he knocks down the other men on the opposite apron. Billy Gunn hits a Fameasser on Singh but Sanjay Dutt has made the tag. Max Caster is there for the save and Billy is able to make the tag to Anthony Bowens. He sets up to take a dive for Max Caster who is holding Sonjay Dutt but Jeff Jarrett knocks Gunn to the ground. Anthony Bowens steps in and clears the ring. He sets up to the top rope and drops the leg on Sonjay Dutt. Bowens covers and the referee counts to three.
Texas Tornado Tag Match: Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli defeat Rush & Preston Vance
As Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli are entering through the crowd Rush and Preston Vance attack them and the men begin to brawl in the crowd area. We go to commercial break.
Returning from the commercial break the action is just making its way into the ring. Preston Vance throws Jon Moxley into the ring and the bell is rung. Rush and Vance double team Moxley as Claudio Castagnoli is down on the outside. Following a spinebuster from Vance to Moxley Castagnoli rejoins the fray. He tosses Rush from the ring and takes Vance down with a side slam. Moxley retrieves steel chairs from under the ring and joins his partner is the ring again. With the chairs braced in the corner they both toss Preston Vance into them. The fans chant for another and Moxley and Castagnoli oblige. Rush appears on the apron and draws Claudio to the outside. Moxley is up on the apron when Preston Vance spears through the middle rope into him and all four men pile up on the outside. Rush and Vance toss their opponents into the timekeeper’s table and toss chairs over the top of them. We go to commercial break.
Coming back from the commercial Rush and Preston Vance have Jon Moxley in a double arm stretch. Moxley powers out and tosses Vance over the ropes. Rush fires back with chest chops and forearm strikes. Moxley hits back and Rush goes down. Preston Vance comes from out of nowhere and nails Moxley with a hard punch while his fist is wrapped in a steel chain. He covers Moxley but he kicks at two. Claudio Castagnoli comes to his partner’s aid, grabbing the chain and wrapping his own hand with it before unloading punches on Vance. He puts him down with a solid knock and then begins to swing him by the legs. Claudio covers Vance but the pinfall is broken by Rush. Moxley hits a cutter on Rush. Preston Vance lands a Lariat on Moxley. Jon Moxley kicks out at two on the pinfall attempt. Claudio sets up for a powerbomb on Rush when Jose the assistant hits him with a chair in the lower back. Wheeler Yuta appears and he knocks Jose out. Rush goes for his stomp in the corner on Claudio but he reverse into a spear. Claudio covers him but Rush kicks at two. Preston Vance is attempting to hang Jon Moxley with the chain but Moxley reverses and Preston passes out in a choke with the steel chain.
Backstage Hangman Adam Page has been assaulted by Kip Sabian.
Mark Briscoe defeats Josh Woods
Josh Woods gets right in Mark Briscoe’s face at the bell and shoves him. Briscoe shoves him back and the two lock up. Josh Woods is reversed off of the ropes and Mark Briscoe takes him down with a hard shoulder block. The action spills outside where Josh Woods hits a spinning neck breaker on Mark Briscoe. We go to a commercial break.
Coming back from commercial Mark Briscoe and Josh Woods are exchanging forearm strikes. Briscoe lands a heavy strike and follows up with a big boot that sends Woods through the ropes and to the outside. Mark follows him and suplexes him onto the floor outside. He rolls him back inside and takes a splash from the top. Woods is covered but he kicks at two. Briscoe lands a Death Valeey Driver and climbs to the top rope. He hits a Froggie and covers. Mark Briscoe wins.
MJF is making his way to the ring. He says he is disgusted by the crowd and the fans for turning their backs on him. He says at least he is honest in who he is though. He knows that he is a devil. He says that Bryan Danielson is trash. He has the people convinced that he is better than MJF. MJF says he knows that Danielson is going to bring all he has got to the Iron Man Match at AEW Revolution. He says he will prove he is the best wrestler in the world. MJF welcomes out Christopher Daniels. MJF asks him to tell the people the truth about Bryan Danielson’s ability in a ring. Christopher Daniels says that MJF tried to pay him to trash talk Danielson. He refuses to. He says Danielson is one of the best there has ever been. He says that he has earned the right to become World Champion again. Daniels tells MJF that he just wishes that he could be as good as Danielson. MJF slaps the microphone from Daniels’s hand and serves him a low blow. MJF locks in an arm bar until Bryan Danielson storms the ring and he flees.
“Jungle Boy” Jack Perry defeats Brian Cage
Jack Perry dives at Brian Cage with a dropkick at the bell. Brian cage catches Jack Perry and sets to slam him but Perry rolls through. Cage is dumped to the outside and Perry follows. He goes to dive at Brian Cage but gets caught and Cage slams him to the floor. We go to commercial break.
Returning from the commercial break Jack Perry is attempting to power back. Brian Cage sets up for a powerbomb but Perry slides out but eats a big boot. Brian Cage catches Jack Perry off of the ropes and he slams him to the mat. He covers but Jungle Boy kicks out at two. Brian Cage hits a powerbomb into the corner followed by an F5 and covers again. Again, Jack Perry kicks out. Perry hits a kick to the back of the head of Cage and follows up with a splash. He unloads with kicks to the head and then nails a forearms to the back of Cage’s head. He rolls up Brian Cage and gets the pinfall. Jack Perry wins.
As Jack Perry celebrates up the ramp Christian Cage appears. Jungle Boy charges Cage but he sprays Perry with mace. Christian removes his arm brace and delivers a Killswitch to Perry on the entrance ramp.
Hangman Adam Page defeats Kip Sabian
Adam Page knocks Kip Sabian to the mat with a punch at the bell. Kip turns it around quickly and lands a splash on Page in the corner. Sabian is caught off of the ropes and Adam Page slams him to the mat. He rolls to the outside and then back in. Adam Page is taken down and he rolls to the outside. Kip baseball slides into Page and then moonsaults from the top rope. We go to commercial break.
Back from the commercial Kip Sabian delivers head butt to Adam Page as they stand perched on the top rope. Kip dives after him but has to roll through and they both spill to the outside. Adam Page tosses Kip into the crowd barrier before tossing him back inside. Hangman pops Kip Sabian up and hits a powerbomb. He covers him but Sabian kicks at two. Hangman rolls through a comeback from Kip and hits the Lariat. He covers Sabian and gets the pinfall.
Following the bell, Jon Moxley comes to the ring. He tells Adam Page that there is nothing left to settle between them. Moxley won. Hangman says it doesn’t end until only one man is left standing. He says it ends at AEW Revolution. Jon Moxley points out that Hangman Adam Page has no friends. The Dark Order come to the ring and they declare that they stand with Hangman. Evil Uno says he is not afraid of Jon Moxley. Uno slaps Moxley and they have a stare down. Jon Moxley looks to Hangman and says Revolution, Texas Death Match. Moxley leaves the ring.
Ruby Soho defeats Toni Storm & Dr Britt Baker
Britt Baker goes right for Toni Storm at the bell. Ruby Soho becomes involved as Toni Storm is removed to the outside. Baker is dumped to the outside as well and Storm returns to the ring. Ruby hits a suplex on both Baker and Storm and they both roll from the ring. We go to commercial break.
Back from commercial Toni Storm has Ruby Soho in the corner. Soho is tossed into Britt Baker who slams her. Baker goes for Toni Storm and hits her with a DDT. Britt Baker goes to strike Storm but Saraya grabs Baker’s foot at the rope. Ruby Soho charges both women. Britt Baker delivers a spinning neck breaker to Soho for a close two count. Britt Baker and Toni Storm exchange forearm strikes. Baker wins and follows with a spinning neck breaker. Ruby Soho clotheslines Baker but is put into the Texas Cloverleaf by Toni Storm. Baker locks in a crossface as well. Saraya kicks Baker out of the hold. Toni Storm spills to the outside and Ruby Soho nails a slam on Britt Baker. She covers and gets the pinfall. Ruby Soho wins.
