All Elite Wrestling pulled double duty on Wednesday night with AEW Dynamite also having tapings for AEW Collision (set for June 29th).
According to reports from fans in attendance, the following matches and segments took place during these tapings:
DARK MATCH
- EJ Nduka defeated Marcus Mathers
AEW COLLISION SPOILERS FOR 6/29/2024
- Serena Deeb defeated Kelly Madden in a squash. Riho came out for a face-off with Deeb after the match.
- Tomohiro Ishii and Orange Cassidy defeated TMDK (Shane Haste and Robbie Eagles)
- Stephanie Vaquer defeated Lady Frost and had a stare down with Mercedes Mone after the match.
- According to @johnrclark12, Chris Jericho “gave a lesson about zambonis” and was jumped by Samoa Joe, Hook and Katsuyori Shibata until Jeff Cobb came out to help The Learning Tree, seemingly indicating he’s the one to replace Bryan Keith at Forbidden Door.
- Hechichero defeated Kevin Blackwood
- Daniel Garcia defeated The Butcher
- Hikaru Shida defeated Deonna Purrazzo. Purrazzo went after Shida following the match until Thunder Rosa made the save.
- Jack Perry, El Phantasmo and Konosuke Takeshita defeated Mark Briscoe, Dante Martin and Lio Rush. A brawl ensued after the match with Briscoe taking everyone out by diving off a ladder onto them.
- Pince Nana moderated a weigh-in between Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay that led to a fight with Ospreay standing tall.
