A few moments after the Hurt Syndicate show up to the venue, Swerve Strickland lands a cheap shot in a hit-and-run attack on Bobby Lashley.
Adam Cole gets in the ring to talk to the people. He wishes so badly that he could get his hands on MJF this Saturday. He did everything in his power to stop it, but he wasn’t the only one who succeeded. Roderick Strong shares his passion to give MJF the kicking of a lifetime. Kyle O’Reilly’s music interrupts Cole. He tells him that this crusade against MJF has to stop, otherwise somebody will get hurt. He hasn’t got a good feeling about any of this. Playing with MJF is like playing with fire, and he doesn’t want to see his friends get hurt. MJF is more of an evil b***** than he will ever be, and that’s a good thing.
Backstage, Orange Cassidy tells Jon Moxley he will do this alone tonight when he faces Wheeler Yuta. The rest of the Conglomeration do not believe that is a good idea and stresses that they should be out there, but Cassidy adamantly puts his foot down. He’s doing this on his own.
Mercedes Mone shows up with Kamille. She gloats and says she will always be the TBS Champion. Mone commands Kamille to get Statlander and Shida, despite having her arm in a sling. This backfires spectacularly, and Mone gets drilled by Statlander.
Swerve Strickland sneaks in to the ring like a ninja and takes out Bobby Lashley.
MJF is happy Roderick Strong got his chance against him, because it means he gets to destroy somebody that Adam Cole cares about. Just like how his mother shot his father when he was a kid, when this is all done with, he will wish that his Mother had shot him instead.
In response, Roderick Strong tells Tony Schiavone that he has not slept a wink since Wednesday. If Maxwell was here right now, he would ask if he should be ashamed of his parents. People have mentioned what his parents are like his entire life. Well done, he made him feel like he is back in elementary school again. He learned in life that if he wants the most out of it; he has to earn it.
Strong feels sorry for Max, because he has been spoonfed everything, so he throws a tantrum anytime he doesn’t get his way. Look in the mirror and think about all the things he has done to people, and realize that at Full Gear he will pay for all of those things. When it is all over, and he walks in to his hotel for the best sleep of his life, he will be happy to know he made MJF humble.
Chris Jericho and Tomohiro Ishii are scheduled to sign their contracts for the ROH World Championship match, but Jericho wants his lawyer to check it over. He leaves the room only to be stalked by Ishii all the way to the ring. Jericho says he would love to sign this contract, but he doesn’t have a pen. Ishii has one and hands it to him. Jericho reluctantly signs it. Just before Ishii can sign it, the rest of the Learning Tree attacks him. The Conglomeration makes the save before Jericho can stab Ishii with the pen. After a fight, Ishii drops Jericho with a Brainbuster and signs the contract.
Jamie Hayter is confused by Julia Hart’s video interrupting her interview last week. She understands marching to the beat of your own drum, but if Julia wants a chat, all she has to do is ask… and again, her interview is interrupted by another Julia Hart vignette.
The Deathriders attack Cassidy after the match and tape his arms to keep his hands in his pockets. They take turns striking him until Moxley gets bored and leaves. The rest of the Conglomeration arrives to free him. Cassidy gets up and looks at Moxley in defiance.
